Traveling by Boat from St Martin to St Barts
Taking a ferry from St Martin to St Barts is an alternative to taking one of the commuter planes. Boats can leave St Martin later in the day than planes can – which is a real plus if your flight is delayed and you miss your connection into St Barts.

Voyager I & II
Voyager has two ferries, the 76-foot Voyager I that carries 117 passengers and the 78-foot Voyager II with a capacity for 154 passengers. Both vessels cruise at 20 knots. While on board, relax under on a sun or shade decks and enjoy complimentary drinks served by the professional crew. One-way fares are 44 and 24 euros respectively for adults and kids.

The Rapid Explorer Is Back in Operation!
The Rapid Explorer, a high-speed catamaran with airline-type seats and air-conditioning, resumed service between St Maarten and St Barth on February 11 after a hiatus of 18 months. It will depart from and arrive at Bobby's Marina in Philipsburg. The Rapid Explorer departs Philipsburg every day at 7:15 am, 9:30 am and 5:00 pm, except for Tuesdays and Sundays when there is no 7:15 am departure. The boat departs St Barth every day at 8:15 am, 10:30 am and 6:00 pm, except for Tuesdays and Sundays when there is no 8:15 am departure. The crossing takes 45 minutes. Tickets are for sale at the travel agency Saint Barth Tours and Travel in Gustavia.
