This famous restaurant isn't easy to find, but the Greek and French cuisine and hospitality are worth the search. The splendid air-conditioned interior mixes Cycladic arches and whitewash with a French ambience. Candles and classical music set the tone for baby squid stuffed with rice and Greek mountain spices, or soufflé, puffed to perfection and loaded with cheese, mussels, and prawns. For entrées, try leg of lamb with mint sauce or pasta with lobster. The apple tart is divine. Reservations required.

Haute cuisine served in a tasteful room overlooking Mykonos Bay on one side and a pool on the other. Start with kataifi pastry stuffed with seafood in grape sauce or roasted vegetable salad with haloumi cheese. The grilled sea bass with mashed pumpkin in mint sauce is outstanding, as are the lamb chops with yogurt mint sauce. The best dessert is an invigorating cream of sweet myzithra cheese on a cinnamon pastry. Reservations necessary.
