Perfect places on Seven-mile beach on Grand Cayman

Well, Michael, you have done it again! Last year Cayman Reef was perfect for us because we had four teenagers with us. This year Whitesands was perfect for just the two of us. We loved our little condo on the beach. We went back to Cimboco for dinner, and had two great dinners at Smugglers Cove. Also went to Cracked Conch and the Edge, and liked them. We didn't even change our money this time, because we plan to go back in 2004. Thanks again,

Dear Wimco:
I recently booked my honeymoon to St. Barths through Florence Lafarge at WIMCO. I cannot begin to tell you of the high level of service I received from her. It was becoming very difficult for me to book my reservation directly with the hotel, car, flight, etc. We were hesitating on whether or not to travel to St. Barths, due to the fact that I was not receiving the quality of service I expect when dealing with a 4 or 5 start hotel directly. It was because of Florence that we decided to go; I've never met someone so friendly, sweet, courteous, professional and efficient in the travel business. In one work, she was a blessing. She had all the answers to all of my 101 questions. We loved the hotels she selected for us and we cannot wait to go back. While we were down there, we met another couple and I was raving about Florence at WIMCO and surprisingly enough they knew who she was. What a small world! I truly thank Florence for the outstanding job and making my honeymoon a very memorable one.

Good fun in the SUN

Hi Glenn:
The visit to St. Barths was as good as ever and the Villa was terrific. We have stayed at Villa ROC before but SUN was more suitable for us. The layout, the views being lower on the hillside, the pool and grounds were all wonderful. The property is in very good condition and the housekeeper was both friendly and helpful. The folks at Sibarth office were also very accommodating. They set me up with my lap top very quickly and despite the overall poor phone service I was in touch with using their Internet connections. I should also mention the Charter service from St. Maarten to St. Barths. This worked out terrifically well with luggage being picked up by the Charter folks and individually we were put quickly onto the Charter plane. I am afraid that I have spoiled my wife with this service and it will be expected in the future. As you can tell it was in all aspects a great experience. Let me know if I you need any other information. I greatly appreciate the many items you took care of so professionally as we prepared for this trip.

WOW'd Again

My wife and I, as well as our friends who we traveled with, would like to thank you for all your help in making our trip to St Barths a memorable one. The villa (SIB WOW) was even more impressive than we had expected (and our expectations were quite high), and the restaurants were fantastic. I would especially recommend the Wall House, which I think you recommended to me anyway as this year's "sleeper". The catamaran trip was also a success, as were the meals at home (breakfast cook daily and cordon bleu chef for two dinners). Mostly, it was just great to explore the beaches and enjoy the amenities of the house for a full week. Thanks again.

An Italian in St Barth, February 21, 2003

Dear Barbara,
St. Barth, St Barth. A dream! Now I understand why Wimco promotes it so much. Such a perfect island! Small, but with all the positive characteristics of French people, and much more relaxed then the French in France! Their good taste in presenting you a dish to fromage, or in showing their elegant way in talking to you while you are in a shop. What can a say about the villa? I will never stop to say thank you! The villa Les Rasinieres was not decorated in a trendy way, or elegantly. It is a simple villa painted pink and light blue, similar to a sort of a candy, so well equipped, so clean, and so comfortable. Also attached to that marvelous sandy beach where only few people used to strolling along. The owner, a lovely lady who lives in the island, used to come everyday to clean and she was so kind and every Ricky loved her much. About me? I felt like a queen! Giuseppe, who likes cooking, used to prepare pasta every lunch, trying to export, as he usually does, the Italian habits at Caribbean. Typical and how funny. And, combined to that marvelous selection of French cheeses and Champaign. What can you desire more in the life? We have been also lucky as the weather was quite good. Then ...something not to forget. I think to have seen more handsome men at St. Barth than in all my life. And this was complementary to the beauty of the Island! For all above, thank you so much Barbara and Thanks to Sibarth too. Anne from that office explained that Wimco and Sibarth are sisters companies. After that we went to Guadalupe, but honestly, if I knew who it is before, I would stay 2 weeks at St. Barth, as after visiting St Barth, nothing is more beautiful.

Recently my wife Donna and I returned from the trip to St. Barts that I won in Wimco's "Celebrate Summer in St. Barts" sweepstakes. I wanted to tell that we had a wonderful time in that beautiful island and to thank you and Wimco for sponsoring the drawing. The Guanahani is an exquisite property and their personnel are without fault. It was just a beautiful place to stay. I'd like to ad a comment about Wimco's staff. Our travel arrangements were handled by WIMCO in a very professional manner. I would not hesitate to recommend Wimco for anyone planning to visit the Caribbean.

You don't have to be a CEO...

Dear Bill:
We can't thank you enough for suggesting that we take CEO for our St. Barts vacation earlier this month. What makes it unique besides the spectacular private setting, is the exquisite simple good taste with which the owner has built and furnished it. For us, the ultimate in luxury is simplicity, and Martha and I were perfectly happy to mostly stay "home". Even our children were amazed, though of course they couldn't wait to go to the beaches during the day and hit the night life until the wee hours. We are really glad we took the house for the 11 day slot that was available, so that we could really unwind. We were extremely happy with the service we received from WIMCO and Sibarth.

Got your message. Hope you're off enjoying some place warm. We LOVED AMB. It couldn't have been a nicer property. Perfectly located, gorgeous views, incredible furnishings and art and a sweetheart of a housekeeper. I'm spoiled forever. We can't imagine staying elsewhere on St. Barts. I recommended it to someone on a Caribbean chat line and sent some of the pictures we took and, as I understand it, she's booked AMB.
